Title: Lion at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park

Caption: I visited the San Diego Zoo Safari Park many times to get a great shot of Izu, one of their male lions, sitting on top of the fake land rover they have parked in the enclosure. On this visit, armed with my big 400, I was blessed with Izu looking majestic as he was positioned perfectly on top of the land rover. This type of shot really doesn't get much better than this. Izu died in May 2022. RIP Izu.
