Getting Gas at Costco Murrieta

I have never been a fan of waiting in line to pay a few cents less per gallon for gas. Costco in Murrieta just opened its gas station to the public a few days ago, and there was no line. To my amazement, I was able to pull right up and get gas. Hopefully this trend continues.
Golden Gate Bridge from Battery Spencer at Night

The Golden Gate Bridge has fascinated me from a very young age. I remember my dad driving me across the bridge when I was about 10 years old. The bridge itself is gorgeous and I can't resist capturing a few shots whenever I am around it. This shot was taken late at night after a conference I was attending. I was able to get a few streaks of light as cars drove across the bridge during the exposure.
Lion at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park

I visited the San Diego Zoo Safari Park many times to get a great shot of Izu, one of their male lions, sitting on top of the fake land rover they have parked in the enclosure. On this visit, armed with my big 400, I was blessed with Izu looking majestic as he was positioned perfectly on top of the land rover. This type of shot really doesn't get much better than this. Izu died in May 2022. RIP Izu.
Disneyland Electrical Parade

One of the floats in Disney's Electrical Parade goes by as I left the shutter open for half a second. This was when the parade was inside California Adventure. Yes, I had a small pocket sized tripod that I positioned on the ground in front of where I was sitting.
