The oldest church in Hemet was founded in 1904 as the Little Lake Congregational Church, later renamed the Pilgrim Congregational Church of Hemet and San Jacinto. The white clapboard structure features a central bell tower topped with a cross, an arched stained glass entry window, and gabled wings.
