I was shooting at the Southern California Railway Museum and I caught a glimpse of an old car - 1953 Kaiser Manhattan - near one of the buildings on the property. I immediately stopped what I was taking a photo of and quickly assembled my nodal pano head. I calculated and composed a shot using an iPhone app to determine where my on-scene borders were and began shooting. The total pixel width on this shot is over 10k pixels wide, about 110 megapixels. For reference, the camera I used had a full frame 30 megapixel sensor that was 6720x4480 pixels natively. |
